Please know first and foremost, Meat at Billy’s is taking the current situation regarding the Covid–19 pandemic extremely seriously. My priority is to ensure the health and safety of our staff and customers above all else.
I hope that as a result, Meat at Billy’s will be able to continue trading therefore supporting my staff and their families both financially and mentally during this uncertain time. My aim is to continue to provide an essential service to our community and help wherever and however we are able to.
It is for these reasons that we have had to make some changes to the ways that we run our physical & online stores. These changes have been made in order to keep our staff and customers safe and our service as efficient and fair as possible.
HYGIENE & PREVENTATIVE MEASURES
STORES & CUSTOMERS
Sanitiser will available on our counters and available at all times. We ask that all customers use it when visiting our stores.
Extra cleaning duties & procedures above and way beyond our normal routines have been implemented and executed on a more regular basis.
Maximum number of customers allowed in each store at one time:
Ashgrove – 4 people maximum 👩👨👱♀️👦
Rosalie – 2 people maximum 👩👨
If the maximum number of people has been reached in store, you will be asked to wait outside.
Please maintain the advised personal distance of 1.5m from other customers who may be queueing.
Please DO NOT enter our stores if you are feeling unwell or been in contact with anyone who has tested positive to COVID-19.
Thank you for everyone’s co-operation to date. It makes our butchers jobs a lot easier and less stressful.
Personal hygiene measures & procedures above and way beyond our normal routines have been implemented and executed on a more regular basis.
Our staff have been officially addressed by management and asked to sign documentation acknowledging their acceptance of the increased expectations we have of them in regards to these stricter hygiene procedures both at work and at home.
Our drivers are working under a ‘Knock & Drop’ policy. Our contactless home delivery means you can safely home isolate. If you don’t answer, they will text you with a photo of where your delivery has been left.

- have little or generally no contact at all with store staff.
- sanitise their vehicles each morning before deliveries.
- do not handle cash or payments and do not require a signature upon delivery.
- will knock & drop.
- sanitise their hands after handling a petrol pump or dealing with other people throughout their journey.
- will dance by request.
Monday – Friday 6am-6:30pm
Saturday – 6am-5pm
Our store trading hours have been reduced slightly. Any changes to this will be communicated here and via our social media pages & website.
Stock levels are currently great and we are doing our very best to keep things that way.

Relax, we’ve got this!
Wow. What a response we have seen to our home delivery service. Considering it’s been in operation for over 5 years now, we are very well equipped & competent to handle the dramatic increase in demand. That said, we’re currently planning and preparing for an even bigger demand in the coming weeks / months.
As the demand for our home delivery service continues to rise, we are pleased to be able to increase the number of delivery slots offered each day.
BONUS + You can order both meat AND groceries online. We have lots of ready to cook items and plenty of your pantry staples, including milk, eggs, butter, pasta, tinned tomatoes & more.
PLUS + All orders over $100 are delivered free.

There is currently only one delivery time slot available – 10am to 6pm.
