We take pride in the quality of our meat and offer what we consider to be the best steaks in town! We’re well known for our sausages too. They’re all made here on site, over twenty different flavours, all gluten free and made from fresh ingredients.

We work exclusively with Eggcettera to bring farm direct pastured, free range products to Brisbane, including pecan fed pork, lamb, beer malt beef and ‘fair dinkum free range’ pastured eggs.

Additionally, we stock local 9-Dorf pastured chickens, Joyce’s Gold Heritage pastured chickens and Elgin Valley’s free range birds along with many other locally produced products.



Meat at Billy’s is a family owned butcher and online butcher Brisbane. Billy Gibney opened the Ashgrove store (his first store) in 2009 mostly due to his determination to change the publics’ perception of the butcher industry at that time. Priority was placed on sourcing exceptional produce and this commitment to quality soon paid off.

Quickly gaining a loyal following & a reputation for consistent quality produce, Meat at Billy’s quickly became a shopping destination in its own right. Ask any local, Meat at Billy’s is now an integral and much loved part of the community.

In 2013, Billy saw an opportunity in the market and launched Meat at Billy’s online. Customers all over Brisbane could now place their order online and choose to have it delivered directly to their homes. A click & collect service was also added.

Growth in this area of this business went from strength to strength and lead to the opening of Meat at Billy’s – Rosalie in 2016.

Meat at Billy’s main focus is always the customer experience. To this day Billy credits his staff with the success and growth of the business. Staff are hired primarily on their ability to offer great service over all else.
