BBQ GRILLED BANANA
WITH VANILLA AND SALTED CARAMEL SAUCE

Barbecuing fruit is a great way to add a little smoky flavour to a dessert. It also makes it really quick to throw together something sweet to have at the end of a barbecue. Get as fancy as you want with serving, but we love the grilled banana and vanilla salted caramel sauce served with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream.
While you could use any caramel sauce with the grilled banana, we recommend the Boutique Sauces Vanilla & Salted Caramel Sauce. This golden caramel sauce is infused with sparkling flecks of pink sea salt & vanilla bean, to create heaven in a bottle. Need we say more?

2 ripe but firm bananas, sliced in half lengthwise
Boutique Sauces Vanilla and Salted Caramel Sauce
Preheat the BBQ grill to a high heat.
Gently insert a skewer into the end of each banana and place onto a hot grill. Grill until the scorched grill marks are visible. Turnover and grill the other side. Remove from the heat.
Serve warm drizzled with the vanilla and salted caramel sauce.
