Meat at Billy’s and the Licensee (above) supports the Responsible Service of Alcohol.
ORDERS, DELIVERY AND CLICK & COLLECT
It is against the law for Meat at Billy’s or you to sell or supply liquor to, or obtain liquor on behalf of, a person under the age of 18 years. When placing your order, you warrant that:
- You are over the age of 18 years and will produce acceptable evidence of age documentation* when requested by Meat at Billy’s at the time of delivery or when collecting the order. This also applies to anyone who looks younger than 25 years of age;
- Any person that you are receiving or collecting the order for, or supplying the order to, is over the age of 18 years.
Delivery: Should you request your delivery be left unattended, you must advise Meat at Billy’s via a Note at the Checkout. Meat at Billy’s reserves the right to not complete the delivery for the following reasons, but not limited to:
- Inability for the recipient to product acceptable evidence of age;
- Minors being present in the area;
- Unclear instructions regarding leaving the delivery in a safe place.
Receiving the goods: Any person who receives the order will be presumed to be authorised to receive the goods. When placing the order you must ensure that a person over the age of 18 years is available to accept or collect the goods. If the order contains liquor, Meat at Billy’s may request evidence that the person receiving the goods is 18 years or older. If the person is unwilling or unable to provide satisfactory evidence of age documentation, we may refuse to deliver/hand over the goods. Meat at Billy’s also has the right to refuse to provide liquor to a person who is intoxicated or disorderly.
*Evidence of age documentation: Acceptable evidence of age documentation includes:
- Australian drivers licence or learner permit;
- Passport;
- Adult proof of age card;
- Foreign drivers licence.
Order limitations: The conditions of our licence place the following limits on alcohol purchased either in store or online:
- No more than 9 litres of beer, wine or sparkling wine may be purchased in a single transaction; plus
- No more than 2 litres of spirits may be purchased in a single transaction.
- The total value of liquor purchased (beer, wine, sparking wine and spirits) can not be more than 75% of the total sale of any transaction (not including any applicable delivery fee).
