Roast your turkey whole for golden, crispy skin and tender, juicy meat, with succulent breast and leg meat to share around the table. Serve it as the centrepiece of a traditional Christmas roast or a special occasion feast.
For added convenience, you can also choose our optional gluten free stuffing to complement your roast turkey and make your festive meal even easier to prepare.

These cooking times are a guide only. All ovens vary, and the time required will depend on the shape and thickness of your roast, your oven’s performance and whether other dishes are being cooked at the same time.
Start checking the internal temperature towards the end of the estimated cooking time. Insert a digital meat thermometer into the centre of the breast & thigh.
COOKING WHOLE TURKEY
Preheat your oven to 160°C fan forced.
Remove turkey from the fridge at least 30 minutes prior to cooking.
Allow a cooking time of approximately 35 minutes per kg of turkey.
Cover turkey with foil while cooking and remove for final 30 minutes.
Allow 1 hour minimum resting time.
For example…
4kg x 35 mins = 140 minutes / 2.3 hours
6kg x 35 mins = 210 minutes / 3.5 hours
8kg x 35 mins = 280 minutes / 4.6 hours
OR UNTIL INTERNAL TEMPERATURE READS 75°C | 167°F
WE RECOMMEND USING A DIGITAL THERMOMETER TO AVOID OVER OR UNDER COOKING!
(or until the juices run clear from the thigh if you pierce it with a knife or a skewer).
RESTING TIME
It is essential to rest your turkey for at least an hour before carving. Put the bird in a warm place, tented with foil. It won’t get cold – but it will become juicier, and easier to carve.
