We have a rotating number of different local varieties of smoking fruit woods including apple, peach, cherry & plum.

As availability of each variety is frequently changing, a random variety will be selected for you when you purchase depending on what is available at that time.

Please feel free to list your preference in the comments of your order however we can not guarantee that you will receive your preference.

SMOKING FRUIT WOODS
Peach – Slightly sweet, fruity and woody flavor. Similar to apple. Pairs well with poultry, game birds & pork.
Cherry – A subtle sweet fruity flavor. (mixes well with oak and apple). Pairs well with Beef, chicken, turkey, game birds, pork & vegetables. A great pairing for ham also.
Apple – A light, fruity, slightly sweet flavour (mixes well with oak and cherry) Pairs well Beef, poultry, game birds, pork and ham
Plum – Subtle flavor. Pairs well with Chicken, turkey, pork and fish.
Pecan – Pecan has a rich & subtle flavour and is ideally suited for low and slow barbecuing. Similar to Hickory but milder with a slightly sweet and nutty flavour. Pairs well with beef, pork, chicken, lamb, fish & cheese
