Product Description
CHUCK BEEF (STEAKS)
Premium, local, grass fed, chuck beef steaks.
This is ‘the’ cut of beef that you want for ragus, stews, curries or braises.
Chuck beef, or neck, is a fairly hard working muscle making it rich in collagen & sinews that melt away to become gelatinous with a long cook at low temperatures.

Our chuck beef is sourced from Rangelands Quality Meats , a local Queensland supplier that we’ve been working with since Meat at Billy’s opened.
Beef Bourguignon otherwise known as Beef Burgundy is a rich & hearty beef stew cooked in red wine and beef stock and often includes onions, carrots, potatoes & bacon! Our beef cut of choice for this dish is our chuck steak. The long, slow cooking time will reward you with flavourful and tender beef.
