Product Description
Raw honey has many health benefits and antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.
KCL Farm honey carries the rich, distinct flavour of local native blooms and tastes exactly as nature intended.
Established for over 30 years and originally known locally as the Kobble Creek Lychee Farm, bees were initially introduced to assist with the pollination of the eight different varieties of lychee trees.
However, with the abundance of nearby native Eucalypts, Tea Trees, Paperbarks and subtropical seasonal blooms available for year-round foraging, the bees began creating an amazing unique and full flavoured tasting honey…. too good not to share!
QUICK TIP: It is natural for honey to crystallise. The formation of crystals or “candied” honey is due to changing of temperatures and the nature of the sugar contained in nectar.
Some raw honeys candy far quicker than others and some do not candy at all. It all depends on the plants the bees feed on to make their honey.
Honey is recognised as a food that does NOT spoil. To reverse honey back into liquid just place it in or over a pot of warm water to slowly warm. Not too hot (less than 36°C) or you will reduce the amazing health benefits.
