PANCETTA STUFFING INSTRUCTIONS
STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
Our stuffing mixture is best stored in the freezer.
Use within a few days of purchase or keep in the freezer it until you’re ready to use.
Our Pancetta, Pear & Walnut Stuffing is our most popular stuffing flavour.
It pairs well with chicken, turkey and pork.
It contains a flavourful combination of sage, onion, pancetta, walnuts and dried pear.
Each 500g stuffing is enough for approximately 2 chickens or 1 turkey
TO PREPARE STUFFING YOU’LL NEED
110g melted butter (or ghee)
130ml water
INSTRUCTIONS
Empty stuffing into a large mixing bowl.
Add melted butter & water dispersing evenly.
Mix together (using your hands is best) until the mixture comes together and it holds its shape when you squeeze it together.
Feel free to add more water if you prefer a wetter mix.
Your stuffing is now ready to be used.

It contains a delicious combination of almonds, dried cranberries, thyme and orange zest.

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
For a simple roast chicken, start by preheating your oven to 180°C. Place the chicken in a roasting tray, breast side up. Season with salt and pepper and little bit of olive oil. Cook in the oven for approximately 30minutes per 500g weight of the chicken. Exact cooking times will also differ depending on the exact size of your bird and also your oven.
To check if the chicken is cooked pierce the skin down near the thigh joint. If the juices run clear, then it’s cooked.
We love to use a meat thermometer for a fool proof way to check if the chicken is cooked. It takes all of the guess work out and you’ll never ruin a fantastic piece of meat again. This way you won’t lose any of the juices either. Measure the temperature of the thigh, close to the bone. There are differing opinions on this (just google and you’ll see what I mean) but you want it to be at around 72-75 degrees according to health regulations.
Once your chicken is cooked. Rest the chicken covered in loosely in foil for about 5 to 10 minutes before carving.
