Gammon Steaks – Pacdon Park (300g-340g)
Pacdon Park’s Gammon Steaks are made using free range pork leg which has been cured with an apple brine.
There are two individual steaks per 300g-340g pack.
Gammon is a raw pork product so it needs to be cooked (like bacon). Two of the best ways to cook gammon is either to pan fry or grill.
To pan fry, heat a pan to a medium heat. Add about a tablespoon of oil and place the gammon steak into the pan. The gammon should sizzle straight away. Allow to cook for about 3 minutes each side or until golden brown.
Serve gammon steaks as an alternative to bacon in your English breakfast. Traditionally, they’re served in pubs with an egg, pineapple and chips.
