Béarnaise sauce is a butter based sauce that is similar to Hollandaise. The main difference between them is that Béarnaise sauce has a lovely addition of the herb tarragon … and Roza’s use only the freshest farmed tarragon they can find!
Béarnaise is fabulous served over a steak or chicken Kiev. It also pairs well with fish.
No preparation required – it’s wonderful just straight from the jar and onto your meats. It can also be mixed through boiled potatoes or vegetables or on top of poached eggs, as a nice change from Hollandaise.
