Do you deliver to my area?

Delivery to your door!

  • No minimum order
  • Free delivery for orders over $100
  • $10 delivery charge for orders under $100
  • Orders must be placed a day in advance (eg. order by 11:59pm Monday for delivery on Wednesday)
  • Deliveries are available every weekday, Monday to Friday 10:00am to 6:00pm (There are no deliveries on public holidays.)
  • Orders are packed, cryovaced and labelled, then delivered in Meat at Billy’s refrigerated van

 

What days do you deliver?

Deliveries are made Monday through to Friday.

There are no deliveries on public holidays.

 

My suburb is not on your delivery area list? Can I still get delivery?

What times do you deliver?

Deliveries are made between 10:00am and 6:00pm.

All orders are packed in an insulated box with ice bricks then delivered in Meat at Billy’s refrigerated van. Our delivery drivers will text you to advise they have delivered your order if you are not home.

 

How is my order delivered?

Once your order is prepared, it is packed in a polybox with ice packs, sealed and then transported in a refrigerated vehicle which is registered with Food Safe Queensland. This ensures the goods are delivered to you meeting national food safety standards. Meat at Billy’s insulated polyboxes are a temporary cold-store solution only. Ideally your order should be transferred to a refrigerator or freezer as soon as possible and within two hours of delivery.

 

What happens if I’m not home when my delivery arrives?

Ideally the order should be placed in the fridge immediately upon receiving. Therefore it is best to have the order delivered to an address where someone will be available to receive it. Deliveries can be made to a place of work. If a work place address is listed as the delivery address then we will assume that accepting personal deliveries is within the company’s rules and regulations.

We realise that certain situations are unavoidable and sometimes, you may not be available to receive your order. Each order is packed in an insulated polybox with ice and this will keep your order at a suitable temperature for up to 2 hours (depending on the weather).

If nobody is available to take collection of the order, we will do our best to contact you on the number you provide us to discuss a suitable place for us to leave your order. If instructed, we can leave your order with a concierge, at reception or any place designated by you. Once your order has been delivered, it is no longer the responsibility of Meat at Billy’s. All risk of loss or damage to the goods passes to you once we have handed over the goods.

 

Will you recycle my polybox?

Absolutely. If you wish to have us recycle your polybox, please leave it out for collection on your next scheduled home delivery. We will happily recycle and reuse all polyboxes that are clean and in useable condition.

 

There was a problem with my delivery but I didn’t realise until after the driver left. What do I do?

If you find there is an issue with your order once you’ve received it, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery either via email or PH 3366 2912 (please choose Menu Option #3 Online Orders & Home Delivery).

 

What are your stores opening hours?

ASHGROVE & ROSALIE:

Monday-Friday        6:00am – 6:30pm
Saturday                    6:00am – 5:00pm
Sunday                      6:00am – 4:00pm

Public Holidays       6:00am – 4:00pm (Open most public holidays – Phone 3366 2912 to confirm)

 

 Are you open on Public Holidays?

Most of them (see above for Ashgrove and Rosalie hours). We keep our customers up to date regarding any changes in our opening hours via newsletter and social media. Follow us here on facebook or instagram.

Do you deliver on Public Holidays?

No. Deliveries are not made on public holidays.

Can I pick up an online order on a Public Holiday?

If we are open on that day then yes, absolutely. (All online order pick ups are available from our Ashgrove store only.)

 

How does the online ordering process work?

It’s easy to purchase from our online butcher.You can order any time online.

1.     Click here to SHOP NOW

2.     Choose your products, select quantities and add to cart

3.     When you’re happy with your order, click through to the checkout and finalise your order selecting either home delivery or pick up (Ashgrove store only) and your selected date.

DELIVERY – Orders must be placed a day in advance eg. place your order before 11:59pm on Monday for Delivery on Wednesday
PICK UP ORDERS – Orders must be placed a day in advance eg. place your order before 11:59pm on Monday for Pick up on Wednesday. All Pick ups are available from our Ashgrove store only, from 9am on your selected day.

4.     Enter your payment details through PayPal to complete the order process. (You do not need a Paypal account to complete your payment this way.)

What does my GPS Membership Card entitle me to?

You must present the current years’ GPS Membership card in either the Ashgrove or Rosalie store to receive the applicable discount. The discount is not applicable on already discounted or sale items. Partners must present their own Partner card in order to receive any applicable discounts.

 Can I use my GPS membership discount online?

No. GPS Membership discount is for in store purchases only.

 

What is your returns policy?

We pride ourselves on providing the best quality and freshest produce possible. In the event that you have received a product you are unhappy with due to quality or error, please contact us immediately. We will discuss the matter with you personally to determine the issue and treat each scenario individually. If the issue is deemed due to our error, then goods will be replaced. A refund of the amount of the goods in question may also be considered in certain circumstances.

 

What are your payment options for your online store?

We currently accept PayPal payments for our online butcher store.

 

Why do you only provide PayPal?

At this time time we only provide PayPal as a payment option. As mentioned in our T&C’s by using PayPal  your credit card details aren’t stored with us. They remain within PayPal’s own system.

 

What makes your butcher different?

Meat at Billy’s is one of the few independent butchers left in Brisbane. Our customers choose us as quality meat, awesome customer service and huge variety are our top priorities.

Our steaks are second to none. We have a reputation for our great Wagyu beef,  Angus steaks and provide Certified Black Angus Beef in grain-finish or pure grass-fed options. We also dry age in-house and release special ‘small batch’ products on a regular basis.

We’re strong advocates of supporting local. We source Queensland produce as much as we can and many of our products come from local farms and businesses local to our area.

We specialise in modern butchering as well as keeping traditional butchery alive. We employ several ex-chefs and as a result, have many dedicated home cooks from all over Brisbane, searching us out to track down those lesser-known cuts of meat. All of our butchers love to cook and more importantly, love to EAT!

Meat at Billy’s is more than just a butcher shop. With two great locations – Ashgrove and Rosalie, we have great deli sections where you can find anything from marinades, sauces and vinegar to couscous, preserved lemons, chipotle peppers and Australian cultured butter.

 

Do you sell free-range meat?

YES! Nearly all of our produce is free range, with everything clearly labelled where possible. If you are unsure, please ask.

 

What do you have on offer?

The best quality steaks, beef, chicken, lamb, pork & veal we can source. Chorizo (three different types), whole lambs, suckling pigs & pigs for spits, Maremma free range duck, Australian Black Wagyu, Ryukyu Berkshire Cross Pork, Brisbane Valley Quail and more.

What can I cook with the meat I buy? Do you have any recipes?
