Smokehouse Sea Salt (90g)
This smoked sea salt is produced by Rivertown Trading Co. in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales. It’s made in small batches from 100% hand harvested Australia sea salt.
The distinct flavour is produced using traditional cold smoking techniques. Cold smoke is slowly moved through the smoker. The salt is then rested for a period of days, allowing the flavour to further develop and cure. The use of native hardwoods creates a uniquely Australian flavour profile that is big on taste and Australian bush smoke aroma.
SERVING SUGGESTION: To retain flavour and texture it’s best used as a finishing salt. Alternatively, season roasted, grilled and barbecued meats and vegetables. For something a bit different, substitute Smokehouse Sea Salt in your favourite salted caramel recipe .
